- Crews must contain between 6 & 12 members
- Competitors must be from school years 7-13
- Showcases must be between 2.5-5 minutes in length
- Competitors must use their own music for their showcases and this must be clear of obscenity and inappropriate content.
- Competitors may be inspired by, but not perform identical copies of, routines and sequences from established breakdance films [eg You Got Served ]
- The battle rounds will be performed to live DJ.
- The battle rounds will be 8 minutes long.
- At no time must a crew disturb another crew’s performance or endanger another crew’s safety. No touching the opposing crew is permitted. Disturbing another crew’s performance may lead to disqualification.
- Showcases should be based on a blend of BBoying, Popping & Locking.
- The judges are expert professionals selected by the UK BBoy Championships and will base their decisions on:
- Performance quality
- Technical ability
- Musicality
- The judges’ decision is final.
- In the interests of Health & Safety, headspins and headslides are banned from this competition. Any crew attempting these moves will be automatically disqualified.
